The Dragon Balls are powerful balls (marble-like) created by the Namek elders. The Dragon Balls were originally created by Guru, the eldest Namek. The other elders created Dragon Balls too, then they hid them across the plains of Namek. Dragon Balls arrived on Earth with Kame, an eldest Namek. He made 7 Dragon Balls, but they were smaller than the ones on Planet Namek. The Dragon Balls on Earth are the size of a human's fist.
After all the seven Dragon Balls have been collected, you can awaken the Eternal Dragon. The Eternal Dragon will grant one wish (three on Planet Namek) no matter what it may be, except for a few exeptions:
- Cannot bring somone back from the dead (or other deminsion) more than once
- Cannot wish anything that is beyond Kame's powers
You have to have all seven Dragon Balls before the Eternal Dragon can be summoned and you can get your wish. On Planet Namek you have to have a password to summon the Dragon, and the password is: Porunga.
